The Pentagon is painting a dim picture of the war in Iraq on a day which saw horrible attacks. This report comes a year to the day that Cheney said the insurgency was losing steam. This has led some of Bush's big supporters, the neo-cons, to criticize the president. And then there is Al Gore, who accused this White House of being run by a 'renegade band of rightwing extremists.'

If that weren't bad enough, the Afghanistan parliament wants to prosecute the soldiers involved in that crash Monday. It's a good thing the U.S. is willing engage in talks with Iran on reducing the threat to world peace (tongue in cheek).

The UN is saying that the AIDs pandemic is getting worse. Twenty-five million dead and counting.

Another war we are losing isn't in the Middle East. Its right on our border. If you don't believe it ask the police in the Mexican town of Nuevo Laredo. Last night on O'Reilly the video of the border violence looked as if it came from Afghanistan. Its chaos.

We finally found WMDs. They were turned up up in Waldo, Florida.

The besieged Bush administration can point to a victory with the Supreme Court's decision to limit a whistleblower's rights.
