Doesn't having more soldiers on the ground mean more victims to car bombs?
Since there aren't enough troops to fight Bush's wars, they are hiring gang members. I saw a news report on FOX (Geraldo Rivera) last night on the rise of gangs in the military. In order to meet their quota of troops, the Pentagon is lowering standards. Which means more thugs going into the military. Many of those thugs are members of violent gangs whom bring back to their neighborhoods killing skills in order to terrorize the people of America. We are training the very people who are helping to destroy our communities. Many of these gangs are involved in drug trafficking. This would explain the dramatic rise in gang violence throughout the U.S., especially in California:
How ironic that Mr.Bush wants to send more troops to Iraq now when his Secretary of Defense refused to send the necessary number of troops early on in the war. Too little, too late.

U.S. criminal gangs have gained a foothold in the U.S. military and are using overseas deployments to spread tentacles around the globe, according to the FBI.
