H.W. Bush Aides Think Dubya's Administration Sucks

Why did it take 60 Minutes to expose the grave injustice which is the Duke Lacrosse rape allegations? The media stop covering the case months ago when it became clear that the salacious claims might not be true. The press doesn't care about a story unless it gets ratings. Justice be damned:
The evidence 60 Minutes has seen reveals disturbing facts about the conduct of the police and the district attorney, and raises serious concerns about whether or not a rape even occurred.

When did North Korea become a greater threat to the U.S. than China?:
The Bush administration, citing new inspections by the Chinese of trucks bound for North Korea, said Monday it expected China would do its part in enforcing a U.N. resolution punishing its reclusive ally for its nuclear program.

More evidence that will convince Hillary not to run:
Many Iowans saw former President Bill Clinton's speech to the Democrats' annual dinner here Saturday night as a sign his wife was getting on the presidential bandwagon. But Hillary Clinton will have to do a lot more to persuade the state - which Bill Clinton ceded to Sen. Tom Harkin in 1992 - to back her.

Dubya has made enemies out of just everyone. Now include his own dad's former presidential aides:
For five years, the 41s have bit their collective tongues as, they complain, the 43s ignored their counsel. But as the war in Iraq has worsened and public support for the current administration has tanked, loyalists of the elder Bush have found it impossible to suppress their disillusionment - particularly their belief that many of 43's policies are a stick in the eye of his father.

An example of why America is dying:
Married couples, whose numbers have been declining for decades as a proportion of American households, have finally slipped into a minority, according to an analysis of new census figures by The New York Times.

Why America is dying: Example 2:
A 22-year-old Iowa man is in custody, charged in the slaying of his parents and three teenage sisters, police said.

Arianna Huffington gets good press...only because she's a "liberal democrat":
Huffington has definitely mastered her own fears and her own life. After stints in New York and Washington, she now lives in Los Angeles. Last year she created a Web site and blog called "The Huffington Post" to dispense news and views from herself, celebrity pals like writer Nora Ephron, actor Alec Baldwin, and everyday people, too.

Israel has its own Bill Clinton:
President Moshe Katsav faced mounting pressure on Monday to quit after police recommended he be charged with rape in a sex scandal tarnishing a public office Israelis cherish as being above their rough-and-tumble politics.
