Like Father, Like Son: Another Kennedy Car Crash Coverup
It was 36 years ago that Edward Kennedy, and family, succeeded in covering up a car accident. Now it looks like history has repeated itself. Congressman Patrick Kennedy (Rhode Island), who is the son of Senator Edward Kennedy, was involved in a car crash Thursday. The police say he was intoxicated. Mr. Kennedy insists he wasn't. There are claims that the Congressman received preferential treatment. There were no tests were performed at scene of the accident to determine if he was intoxicated. Kennedy claims that he was late for a vote. It was 3 a.m. There was no vote. Sound like dejavu all over again? The Congressman, who like his father has a history of alcohol problems, has done some time at a drug rehab clinic.
