Terrorism Dramatically Increased in 2005

We are in Iraq in large put to fight terrorism, as the Bushies argue. But what evidence is there that terrorism is being defeated? None. On the contrary, terrorism is on the rise. Unless you think that acts of terror in Iraq don't count. But I'm sure some will argue that we haven't been hit in the U.S. since September 11th. And that proves that the war on terror is a success. Not so fast. There was a 8 year gap between the two World Trade Center attacks. In addition, there has not been one case in where a terrorist attack was stopped in the U.S. before it could be carried out. And certainly the rest of the world doesn't feel safer since the 9-11 attacks.
