Bad Sign: Iraqi Troops are Shooting at Each Other

If it weren't bad enough that we aren't able to defeat the insurgency, but now Iraqi troops are shooting at each other. And these are the people who are supposed to take over fighting the war when we leave? Apparently Iraqi soldiers are not ready-for-prime-time. This could mean U.S. troops will end having to stay longer to shore up inept Iraq forces. That is what happened in Vietnam. Not to mention that Iraq troops are poorly armed and equipped. They are easy targets for the insurgency every time they go out on patrol. No wonder Bush wants to leave this mess to the next administration.
