Israel, Bush Preparing for Attack on Iran

It is only a matter of time. The plan all along was to attack Iran's nuclear capabilities. The question was -- When. I now that Bush has gotten a trouncing because of his Iraq policies he needs a fiasco. There is nothing left for this administration but to start turning away from an obvious defeat in Iraq and look towards a new adversary. Iran is next:

The deputy defense minister suggested Friday that Israel might be forced to launch a military strike against Iran's disputed nuclear program — the clearest statement yet of such a possibility from a high-ranking official.

Both the Israeli government and their benefactors in the White House are looking for a success after being whipped elsewhere. They want revenge. The result of this attitude will be cataclysmic for the Middle East and World. World War III won't be far behind.
