Bush Can't even Pronounce Bipartisanship
It was a photo-op that showed how unlikely bipartisanship will succeed. The new speaker, Pelosi, and her expressed nemesis, Bush, sat uncomfortably in each other's presence. George won't act humbly for too much longer. He thinks that he can 'fulfill his mission' after all. And he will run rough shod, if necessary. He did it with his own party. Why not with the Dems:
Its safe to say Bush dislikes Ms.Pelosi and will test her resolve, especially on the foreign policy front:
His wings might've been clipped somewhat. But this president has a lot of destruction left in him.
In another blow to pluralism, the White House resubmitted the nomination of hawkish UN ambassador John Bolton to the Senate, sparking an immediate row with Democrats.
Its safe to say Bush dislikes Ms.Pelosi and will test her resolve, especially on the foreign policy front:
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says the Democratic wave that won the party control of Congress did nothing to deter the Bush administration from continuing its Iraq mission until "the goal that took us to Iraq" is reached.
His wings might've been clipped somewhat. But this president has a lot of destruction left in him.
