Chances for Middle East Peace is all but Dead
Iran says they want to talk:
But Bush doesn't want to talk. He wants to bomb.
Hamas has given up trying to talk:
They realize that Israel and the United States are not interested in peace but wiping them and Iran out. This only leaves conflict. But we are talking about major escalation in the violence in the Middle East. Israel wants revenge after getting noses bloodied in Lebanon. George, and his neocon handlers, want to take out Iran and Hamas because they are threats to Israel. And because Mr. Bush desperately needs to wag the dog since he wants to turn attention away from the Iraq quagmire. The new Democratic majority in Congress won't say much since they are in the pockets of the Israeli lobby.
Translation: A new wider war in the Middle East that can escalate into World War III.
