Bush Beats-up Kerry Again

John Kerry couldn't keep his mouth shut. It's his miscalculations that caused that fool to be reelected President in 2004. Now he's given Bush another gift. Whether or not he said that our troops are uneducated, he should've been more careful with his wording. But Kerry wants to run for President again. So he can't help himself. The desperate Bushies and their sycophants jumped all over Kerry's remarks. We might not know what impact Kerry's comments have on the election. It certainly didn't help. Anything that diverts attention from taking control of the Congress out of the hands of Republicans must be avoided. Kerry did a great disservice to his party and country:
For weeks, Republicans on the campaign trail have been looking for something — anything — to talk about other than the record of the Republican Congress and the way the Bush administration has conducted the war in Iraq.

Monday, they got their wish. While stumping for local Democrats in California, Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., addressed students at Pasadena City College and made a comment about education and the war in Iraq that lent itself to much controversy.

Kerry's stumble is helping to draw attention from a major blow to the administration in Iraq. The Iraqi government is rebelling against the U.S. military presence there:
Exploiting GOP vulnerability in the Nov. 7 elections, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki flexed his political muscle Tuesday and won U.S. agreement to lift military blockades on Sadr City and another Shiite enclave where an American soldier was abducted.

Not only are the Iraqi people turning against us but so is the democratic government we helped create. Time to get out.
