Daily Revolt

The whole illegal immigration issue became so controversial because Bush decided to almost completely stop enforcing the law:
"The Bush administration, which is vowing to crack down on U.S. companies that hire illegal workers, virtually abandoned such employer sanctions before it began pushing to overhaul U.S. immigration laws last year, government statistics
show."

The Taliban is surging in Afghanistan. If Bush doesn't start paying attention to the situation there we could lose two wars. Speaking of losing, the Iranians are toying with the President again.

Do you know who Aung San Suu Kyi is? You should if you are interested in human rights:
"Aung San Suu Kyi turned 61 on Monday, alone and under house arrest. The pro-democracy leader, who won the 1991 Nobel Peace Prize for her nonviolent work, has spent 10 of the last 17 years in confinement."

Aung San Suu Kyi is one of many women leading the struggle for justice. Even in Iran there is a movement for women's and civil rights. In the U.S., women are now in control of religious organizations.

The Chinese have a massive operation to steal American trade secrets. Our government won't take them seriously.

John Murtha repeated his criticism of Bush's lack of a war strategy in Iraq. The President doesn't care. He won't even pay attention to polls that show the American people oppose his role as commander in chief.
