$1 Billion Tax dollars for Massages and Vacations

The world is becoming more hostile towards the United States:
"As the war in Iraq continues for a fourth year, the global image of America has slipped further, even among publics in countries closely allied with the United States, a new global opinion poll has found"

In fact, those same countries polled believe that the U.S. is a greater threat to stability in the Middle East than Iran.

Bush is so desperate that he has engaged in a stunt like visiting Iraq, albeit under strict secrecy.

Patrick Kennedy finally pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. The problem is he is admitting only to using prescription drugs. We don't know what the truth is since Kennedy was not given a breathalyzer test at the scene of his bizarre car smash up. So is this a cover up? We might never know since the press is not interested in this scandal.

Clinton got booed again while giving a speech on Iraq. She has been heckled on several occasions now. This is beginning to look suspicious. Could these people be plants in the audience? Are they there to give the Senator credibility as a candidate for the Presidency. The Clinton's are known for their dirty tricks. Don't be surprised if it is a ploy.

Who are the greatest beneficiaries of the war in Iraq? The contractors. And they are making billions. In some cases the contracts, subsidized by the American people, are secret. The contracts are also part of the effort by the Bush administration to outsource much of the war. What we have in fact are mercenaries fighting in Iraq not necessarily with America's best interest at heart.

Ever wonder how we get all those great electronic products at such low prices? We ought to stop and think why it is that our jobs are being outsourced to China. And why the trade deficit continues to skyrocket. Occasionally the press looks into the sweatshops in China that produce these items with workers earning $50⁄month. If it doesn't bother you, kind in mind that America's standard of living has declined over several decades largely due to the cheap, repressed labor in China.

The crime rate might down over decades ago, but senseless violence is on the rise. Random or twisted violence is the new sport in America. The unprovoked stabbing of a Texas tourist on a New York subway is just the latest example.

Bush once again reiterated his vow to keep the troops in Iraq until the job is done. The president is a stubborn man, this means Americans will continue to die needlessly for next 2 years no matter what anybody says. Unless the Democrats take control of the Congress, we will have to suffer more tragedy over Iraq. If only we had a presidential recall vote. Bush can at least point to Japan as a supporter on the war.

No wonder there is call for the elimination of FEMA. With massive deficits leading to program cuts, why is hurricane aide being used for massages and vacations? The Congress is looking into whether $1 billion was ripped-off on these luxuries. Do you still doubt this administration is incompetent?
