Bush still rattling the saber against Iran. And attack on that country is still a go in time for the fall elections. That is why he is trying to create a coalition. He needs legitimacy for any strike against Iran. It will be tough sledding since his administration has very little credibility.

The North Koreans want to get into the act with threat of launching a "test" missile. This is much more serious than the Iran matter. But you could also put this crisis at Bush's front step.

Did you really think that the Iraq situation would change? Now we have the death of those 2 soldiers. It tragically brings the death total at 2,505 for U.S. forces. And Bush ain't done yet. He's got many more Americans to kill in the next 2 years.

If you haven't heard yet: the insurgency are winning in Afghanistan too:

"Even before fighting heated up this spring, Lt. Gen. Michael Maples, director of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, warned Congress that the insurgents 'represent a greater threat' to the pro-U.S. government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai 'than at any point since late 2001.'"

The insurgency in Afghanistan have adopted the tactics of Iraq with the use IEDs.

And now we have another haven for terrorists in Africa. It doesn't seem like we are winning the war on terror.

We could be on the verge of having another leftist government in Latin America. This time around it will be on our border. So far most of those governments are hostile towards the United States. I wonder if this administration's neo-fascist policies have anything to do with that rise.

America has a long way to go as relates to women in politics. It seems other countries do much better. This is not a argument for supporting the Hillary Clinton. She is actually pushing back women's advancement in politics in this country.

The Houston flooding is only a small hint of what we can expect to see this hurricane season. Are you prepared? Probably not. Our government certainly isn't ready.
