Russians Deliver Missiles to Iran

We should think twice about bombing Iran. Russia has begun to deliver Tor-M1 air defence rockets. This means that an attack -- and its coming -- would carry with it complications. Russia, which opposes sanctions for Iran's insistence on some kind of nuclear program, would clearly not sit around and watch that happen. There is a danger here. The former Communist empire is clearly headed in the wrong direction, especially after the murder of that ex-Soviet spy. bombing Iran would not be cakewalk despite assertions to contrary from supporters of the idea.

If that weren't bad enough, now China is helping our so-called ally in the "war on terror," Pakistan, with it's nuclear power program. But they are also delivering fighter aircrafts to the Middle Eastern country. Where are we in all this? Is it a good thing that China and Pakistan have a military cooperation agreement?

Excellent article on the intolerance of the moralistic left:
Does she really believe that? That “radical Christianity” is “just as threatening” as “radical Islam”? These terms are imprecisely defined. You get the feeling that to Rosie O’Donnell “radical Christianity” is pretty much Christianity – or at any rate any Christian denomination without an openly gay bishop. Still, it’s hard to imagine even Rosie would feel “just as threatened” by an evangelical Protestant church opening up next door as by, say, a Wahhabi madrassah.

The last election, as exit polls showed, was first about the publics decline in morals, in particular, traditional values. It was dissatisfaction with the corrupt and amoral culture that exists that kept the fundamentalist christian voter away. In fact, many of them voted Democratic. Not quite the threat Ms. O'Donnell is talking about:
The post-Christian Europe George Weigel writes about is a fact: it is the spiritual vacuum into which Islamism has poured. But the radically Christianist theocon takeover of America is a ludicrous fantasy. Yet it’s the latter hogging the prime real estate at bookstores across the land.

Even grandmothers are getting into the act:
In the first suicide bombing claimed by Hamas in nearly two years, a grandmother blew herself up today near Israeli troops operating inside Gaza near the town of Beit Lahiya.

How do you fight such hatred? What a terrible statement on values in that region. Its bleak.
