FOX Sleaze Exposed

FOX gets away with plenty of offensive programming. But this time they went too far. And public deserves credit for forcing the network to cancel the Simpson book deal. Let's hope this is only the beginning of a public rebelling against a media gone wild:

Facing a firestorm of criticism, media tycoon Rupert Murdoch on Monday scrapped a new book and TV interview in which O.J. Simpson offered a hypothetical account of how he would have killed his ex-wife and her friend.

He killed 10 people and gets probation. How is that possible? That's what happened with a 86-year-old in California. He ran down people at a food market, apparently losing control of his car. The argument was that he was too elderly to do time. Maybe he shouldn't have been driving in the first place. Hopefully some good will come from this horrible tragedy. Elderly people should be required to take periodic tests to determine whether than can drive safely. Don't hold your breath. Ten people had their lives snuffed out and justice was not done. When will we learn that cars can be just as deadly as a gun. That you should be punished if you kill while driving. For now, tens of thousands will continue to die each year at the end of a bumper and hood.
