Bush Tempting Fate

Why does George Bush want to tempt fate by going to Indonesia where he is unpopular? And why is going there given that he in the most unpopular person in the world, and so many would people would want to kill him; in a country where terrorism is a constant threat?:
Indonesian police warned Saturday that the threat of an attack by al Qaeda-linked militants has increased sharply ahead of U.S. President George W. Bush's visit to the world's most populous Muslim country.

Someone should be advising him not go to that country, at this time. Also history works against this President. There have numerous assasinations, or attempts, on American Presidents. The last one was against Reagan in 1981. The Secret Service should be advising the President to stay home, especially in these times with rampant terrorism. al Qaeda is believed to consider assasination as effective form of terrorism. The impact on America would be devastating. Let's not forget: World War I began with the assasination of a powerful political figure. And some argue that America's demise began with the killing of JFK in 1963.
