Bush Solution to North Korean Nuke Threat: Take Away Their Ipods

Bush has a solution for the nuclear standoff with North Korea: take away Kim Jong Il's Ipods:

The Bush administration wants North Korea's attention, so like a scolding parent it's trying to make it tougher for that country's eccentric leader to buy iPods, plasma televisions and Segway electric scooters.

The problem with George's sanctions is that the items in question can be obtained elsewhere. Is this the way the President of the United States deals with our adversaries? Just as important, is this how to get the North Korean's to negotiate a nuclear agreement?
