Bush has Worst Job Record Since World War II

No President, since the end of World War II, has created less jobs during their administration than George W. Bush. During his reign G.W. has created on average only 546,000 jobs (year to year). That's lower than his father's total of 845,000. And only 1/5 the total during Bill Clinton's tenure. In fact, Jimmy Carter also created 5 times as many jobs. His total is lower than that of the crisis years of Harry Truman, JFK, and Lyndon Johnson. George is the champ.

If that weren't bad enough average hourly earnings (adjusted for inflation) of Americans, in the private sector, has declined for the last 3 years. Conversely, during the Clinton years, earnings rose 2.5 times as much (.78 to .28 percent).
