Iraq, Afghanistan War: From Bad to Worse

With all the talk about the Washington scandal and other matters, we've become almost indifferent to the increasing number of U.S. casualties (along with ally deaths in Afghanistan) in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

• Two U.S. soldiers died in Afghanistan today.
• U.S. military deaths in Iraq are now up to 2,718.
• A roadside bomb killed 4 U.S. soldiers Monday.
• 9 U.S. soldiers died within a two day period.

No end in site.
