Spy Agencies: Iraq War Worsens Terror Threat

This latest report only confirms what many of us have believed all along. The Iraq War has been a god send to the very same Bush claims he went into Iraq to destroy. This administration will ignore this report just as it has ignored all the previous warnings. He has already said that he won't pull out of Iraq. And he won't do what is necessary to win the war. Therefore, the Iraq War will continue to be a quagmire until the next administration. Meantime, al Qaeda and other terrorist groups will grow in their ranks and more Americans will die needlessly.

The Times take:

"A stark assessment of terrorism trends by American intelligence agencies has found that the American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist threat has grown since the Sept. 11 attacks."

We're Certainly not pulling out:

"The U.S. military will likely maintain the current force levels of more than 140,000 troops in Iraq through next spring, the top U.S. commander in the Middle East said Tuesday in one of the gloomiest assessments yet of how quickly American forces can be brought home. "
