Drop in Oil Prices Tied to Election, Politics: Poll

The Bush administration is imposing sanctions on those responsible for the overthrowing of the Democratic government in Thailand. Why the pretense to the rule of law? Bush and his Neocon administration wouldn't consider imposing sanctions on the military rule in Pakistan. He needs them for the glorious war on terrorism - even if Bush has to threaten them. Thailand isn't in the Middle East and they don't have oil. China can violate human rights all they want and our government says nothing. United States business isn't rushing into Thailand to make massive profits like they are in China.

It looks like the Neocon Joe Lieberman will be reelected to the Senate. His victory will demonstrate dramatically how powerful the pro-Israel lobby is in America and how weak the Democrats are:
"Democratic Congressional leaders may be keeping their distance from Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) since he opted to seek re-election as an Independent, but a group of more than 50 former Senators, House Members and Clinton administration officials will proudly announce the creation of 'Dems for Joe' today," writes Nicole Duran for Roll Call.

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks the timing of the drop in oil prices is too much of a coincidence:
Almost half of all Americans believe the November elections have more influence than market forces. For them, the plunge at the pump is about politics, not economics.

Many Americans accuse Bush:
According to a new Gallup poll, 42 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that the Bush administration "deliberately manipulated the price of gasoline so that it would decrease before this fall's elections." Fifty-three percent of those surveyed did not believe in this conspiracy theory, while 5 percent said they had no opinion.

Am I the only one who thinks that there is something wrong with a society in where mass murder and sexual violence, especially against children, is a national sport:
The gunman who killed a student and committed suicide during a high school standoff methodically selected six girls as hostages — apparently favoring blondes — and sexually assaulted at least some of them, authorities and witnesses said Thursday.

You won't hear much concern expressed from our political "leadership." The moral decline of America is no longer a sexy issue. Where have all the Conservatives gone. You can blame that on Bush as well.

Any wonder why 9/11 happened. The FBI still can't figure out who was responsible for the anthrax attacks. Let me make it easy for you. It was al Qaeda. The attacks first happened in Florida not far from where know al Qaeda terrorists lived. One of the terrorists was known to have visited a pharmacist asking for help with a condition that was identified as having all the hallmarks of contact with anthrax:
...there is the report of a pharmacist in Delray Beach, Fla., who was also interviewed by the FDA and FBI. The pharmacist, Gregg Chatterton, told investigators that two of the 9/11 hijackers came into his store, Huber Drugs, looking for medication to treat irritations on Mohamed Atta's hands. Chatterton, whose pharmacy is not far from AMI headquarters, recalled that Atta said, "My hands – my hands burn; they are itching."

One of the men who visited the pharmacist resembled Mohammed Atta. al Qaeda was looking into buying crop dusters. Most likely with the intent of spraying the anthrax over a wide area.
