Nuclear Bombs Mistakenly Flown Over U.S.
It makes you wonder what other kind a "mistake" is still yet to occur as long as this administration is still in power, or is it too cynical to believe that this was some kind of deliberate test. Anything seem possible in Bush's brave new world. And if a cataclysmic event were to happen then wouldn't Bush suspend the next election and create some kind of military rule? I know that seems farfetched, but this is an administration that condones torture and wiretapped American citizens without a warrant. It can also mean that so much of our resources are going into that sink hole in Iraq that there is nothing left to maintain safe operating procedures in place for the rest of our military:
A B-52 bomber was mistakenly armed with six nuclear warheads and flown for more than three hours across several states last week, prompting an Air Force investigation and the firing of one commander, Pentagon officials said Wednesday.
The mistake was so serious that President Bush and Defense Secretary Robert Gates were quickly informed and Gates has asked for daily briefings on the Air Force inquiry, said Defense Department press secretary Geoff Morrell.
