Obama: 'in Elective Office Longer' than Clinton, Edwards
Yeah, where did the press, thus the people, get the idea that Hillary has more political experience than Obama. More importantly, who has more experience in public service? Hillary was in the White House serving tea while Barack was a community activist/politician. This is another example of the Clinton propaganda machine. What experience did Hillary have when she was elected to the U.S. Senate from a State she knew nothing about:
Another point: what has Hillary done in the Senate other than vote to get us into a disastrous war she refuses to condemn? Four years ago there was talk of her running for President back then. Polls showed her ahead of most other candidates. What was her qualifications back then, other than the fact that she was a Clinton and she has a political machine running her campaigns. Today on Ellen, she literally has props with her. It was a bag of goodies that her team obviously conjured up. Who the hell does that? She is nothing but a walking, talking political focus group:
At a backyard event in Sac City, Iowa, Obama claimed he had more relevant experience than his main opponents. Responding to a question from a voter, he said, "I find it amusing, the whole experience argument, because I've been in public service for over two decades now. I've been in elective office longer than John Edwards or Hillary Clinton. I've passed more bills, I'm sure, than either of them."

Continuing the theme he's hit hard on the trail, the Illinois Democrat told the crowd, "What people seem to mean when they say that I don't have enough experience is I haven't been in Washington as long as they have. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think that's necessarily a criteria for gauging experience."
