Russian Leader Blasts Bush Administration

In keeping with Bush's habit of antagonizing just about every country in the world, including his own, he's being called out by the Russian head of state, Vladimir Putin:
Russian President Vladimir Putin blasted the United States Saturday for the "almost uncontained" use of force in the world, and for encouraging other countries to acquire nuclear weapons.

In what his spokesman acknowledged were his harshest attacks on the U.S. since taking office in 2000, Putin also criticized U.S. plans for missile defense systems and NATO's expansion.

He calls Bush dangerous:
"This is very dangerous, nobody feels secure anymore because nobody can hide behind international law," Putin told the gathering.

Bush, and his friends, seem to be causing or promote hostility everywhere, including between Palestinians and Israel:
A new Palestinian unity government to be formed after a deal in Mecca between rival Fatah and Hamas factions will not recognize Israel, a political adviser to Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said on Saturday.

Ahmed Youssef said the unity government, which he expected Haniyeh to unveil within 10 days, would "respect" previous Palestinian peace accords with Israel but would not be committed to them, nor to recognizing the Jewish state.

Israel's belligerence, with Bush's blessing, could lead to spiraling violence in the Middle East:
Muslim leaders have vowed more protests over Israeli building work near Jerusalem's most contentious holy site, a day after clashes between Palestinian protestors and police left dozens wounded.
