Pakistan the Weak Link in the War on Terror

If the large anti-government, anti-Western element in Pakistan are successful in overthrowing the military ruler, Pervez Musharraf, the ball game is over. The U.S. is totally dependent upon on Pakistan to fight the war on terror. Even then, the recent successes of al Qaeda and the Taliban in Iran and Afghanistan can be traced directly to Musharraf's deal with the Islamic terrorists. The fact that the Bush refuses to criticize Pakistan shows how dependent we really are:
Gunmen attacked the convoy of a Pakistani government minister in the restive southwestern province of Baluchistan on Tuesday but he escaped unhurt.

But its only a matter of time before the Jihadists are successful in taking out Musharraf; they've already tried several times to assassinate him. What will Bush do then? Invade Pakistan?
