Harvard Study: Israeli Lobby Behind Iraq War

Now we have a scholarly analysis of the Iraq War that shows it had nothing to do with 9-11, terrorism or democracy. Former Bush administration officials have argued the Neo-Cons (made of many members of the Israeli lobby) are behind the war and that the plan pre-dated 9-11.

There has been very little debate on this contention in Washington because of the power of the Israeli lobby. Anyone who dares make such an assertion stands the chance of being called an anti-semite. If you are a politician there is a good chance that you will lose your job. The Lobby, as they are called inside the beltway, are notorious for helping to defeat anyone who doesn't follow the party line. With Bush's victory in 2000, the Neo-Cons (made up of members of that lobby) gained control of the White House. That same political force is behind the push for war with Iran. Don't expect to read about this study in the mainstream press. There is no debate in America about U.S. subservient support for Israel.
