Nuclear Agency Sees Progress on Iran

This only means that war with Iran is coming soon. If you'll remember Bush attacked Iraq before the UN nuclear arms inspectors could go into country find that there were no WMDs. The neocons will want to do the same thing now:
The International Atomic Energy Agency on Thursday reported ''significant'' cooperation from Iran with its nuclear probe and noted that Tehran had slowed uranium enrichment -- assessments that could hamper U.S. hopes for new U.N. sanctions.

Iran said the report proved it was the target of unfair U.S. attacks. But Washington and its allies said it did not change the need for more U.N. Security Council penalties.

The White House was quick to dismiss such stories of progress:
''I don't see anything, at this point, in this report, that changes the basic facts,'' State Department spokesman Tom Casey said in Washington. ''The international community is going to continue to ratchet up the pressure.''

Speaking of WMDs, now we know why Bush couldn't find them in Iraq:
U.N. weapons inspectors discovered potentially hazardous chemical agents in their office near U.N. headquarters that were probably taken from Iraq’s main chemical weapons facility 11 years ago, officials said Thursday.

“There is no immediate risk or danger,” U.N. deputy spokeswoman Marie Okabe said.
