8 Million Iraqis in Need of Emergency Aid

There isn't much talk about the consequences of the war on the Iraqi people. Our presence there has been devastating to the country, whether it was intended or not. The neocons, and their collaborators, want to "win" the war even if it means killing every man, woman, and child in Iraq:

Almost eight million Iraqis are in need of immediate emergency aid, according to an alarming report released in Amman on Monday by Oxfam and a coalition of Iraqi non-governmental organisations.

The figure comprises four million people who are "food-insecure and in dire need of different types of humanitarian assistance," more than two million who are displaced within the country, and more than two million refugees, the report said.

[...]The report, by international relief agency Oxfam and the NGO Co-ordination Committee in Iraq (NCCI), warned ongoing violence is masking a humanitarian crisis that had worsened since the US-led invasion in 2003.
