Newly Empowered Democrats Draw Wrath of Voters

It is clear Democrats are no better than the Republicans at running things. This is why the people are beginning to wise up as America continues to decline:

The new Democratic-led Congress is drawing the ire of voters upset with its failure to quickly deliver on a promise to end the Iraq war.

This is reflected in polls that show Congress -- plagued by partisan bickering mostly about the war -- at one of its lowest approval ratings in a decade. Surveys find only about one in four Americans approves of it.

Where is the government in all this? Their busy taking campaign contributions from lobbyists:

"Most consumers think that products are tested by somebody to make sure that the product that they are buying off the shelf is safe, but that's not the case at all," said Rachel Weintraub, director of product safety and senior counsel with the Consumer Federation of America.
