A Sign of the Times: Thieves Steal from a Poor Box

Is there no decency anymore?:

A sticky-fingered Grinch and his accomplice swiped nearly $30,000 in holiday donations from a Queens church yesterday, slipping past two guards and opening a locked safe during a Christmas-morning Mass.

There was once an unwritten rule that you didn't rob priests or the church. Now thieves believe they make an easy target. There are no rules anymore:

"It's heartbreaking," said Turczany. "The money that comes in, it goes to needy children, and is used to pay the insurance bill - which is due next week - and the electric bills."

Hollywood will probably make a movie from this obscenity. It will probably be a comedy. The individuals involved probably got a kick out of what they did:
