Bush Won't Help Prevent Next Civil War in Lebanon
The only hope for preventing a civil war from breaking out in Lebanon, requires U.S. diplomatic intervention. That's not forthcoming. Certainly, they don't want a government with a greater participation from Hezbollah. But the White House won't acknowledge Syria and Iran's influence in that country. It looks like the U.S., and Israel, would rather fight than try negotiating two members of the "axis of evil":
