JonBenet Murder Hoax - The Press Hits New Low

Surprise, surprise. It turns out that would be "killer" was a fraud. But many of us knew he wasn't (including myself) involved with JonBenet's murder. It was obvious from Karr's initial admissions and lack of admissions. It was also obvious he wasn't involved because the parents were lying about what they knew early on.

But that's all irrelevant. And just as unimportant was the serious news coming out of the Middle East. Because the media decided that one individuals sick attempt at getting publicity for himself was the top issue. America is on the verge of World War III and the top story for days is the murder of a little girl 10 years ago. Its not because the Press cares about JonBenet. Its because her story gets great ratings and sells papers. That's all that matters in America; not terrorism, not Americans dying in a needless war, and certainly not a President attacking our rights under the Constitution. George couldn't be happier.

It is precisely this type of sensationalism that has forced the public to turn to the Blogs to get the facts about what's happening in the World.

The NYPost did report the bogus nature of Karr's claims back on Aug 18th:

"JonBenet Ramsey's suspected killer, John Mark Karr, shocked the world with his chilling confession - but hours after his blockbuster admission, experts began wondering whether cops didn't just have a pathological liar on their hands."

This Blogger got it right also (don't know when he wrote this):
