U.S. Finally Stands Up to China on Trade...Maybe

For decades the U.S. government has been selling out to China, especially when it comes to trade. So its news whenever they do denounce the mainlands trade practices. Its doubly noteworthy when the Bushies speak up, albeit under pressure:

The Bush administration, under pressure from a Democratic-controlled Congress to do something about America's soaring trade deficit, filed a trade case Friday against China in a dispute involving government subsidies.

Its probably just a lot of posturing to make it look like something is being done. Big business loves the big profits coming from China. And what big business wants big business gets.
