Bird Flu Pandemic Could Cost $2 Trillion: World Bank

Maybe you've forgotten about the Bird flu threat since the media and politicians have forgotten:

"A severe bird flu pandemic among humans could cost the global economy up to $2 trillion, the World Bank said on Sunday, sharply raising earlier estimates."

Just because an issue is not in the media that doesn't mean that its not important. Remember, terrorism as an issue was ignored until September 11th.
